Welcome to the website
of the Home Counties Area of the Folk Dance and Song group which is part
of
The Camping and Caravanning Club.
Our area covers Bedfordshire, Buckinghamshire, Cambridgeshire, Essex, Hertfordshire, Norfolk, North London, Northamptonshire, Oxfordshire and Suffolk.
We camp throughout the season and enjoy folk music, dancing, singing, crafts and simply camping in the great British countryside. Campers and folkies of all ages are welcome whether you play, sing or dance, or even if you don't, just as long as you are prepared to have a great time.
Tents, caravans, motorcaravans are all welcome - occasionally our sites have toilets and showers, but usually they don't so please bring your own sanitation. We always have chemical toilet disposal facilities and a cold drinking water tap for you to fill up water containers. We camp on all sorts of sites - farms, playing fields, schools, village halls. Young people and families are just as welcome as older and retired people. If you have any particular needs or questions, just ask - many people use our Contact Us link or you can phone the contact phone number for a particular meet you've seen in our Programme or in a magazine advert.
Our weekend camping meets are open to all Camping and Caravanning Club
members.
Please join our Facebook Group to keep up to date of any changes to our programme.
