|Address||Cherry Tree Farm |
|Post code||NN11 3SB|
|Directions||From the A361 south of Daventry, turn east at the mini roundabout in Byfield towards Woodford Halse. Within 2 miles turn left at the T junction and within 1 mile at top of long hill, turn right. This is a quiet road but do take care as this turn is on a left hand bend. Turn into the farm entrance on the right after 600 yards, then right again into the site.|
This is one of our favourite sites, set in the beautiful rolling countryside of Northamptonshire; this site is on a working farm. The site is level with good views and, weather permitting, lovely sunrises and sunsets.
This site is a good base for exploring the surrounding area by car, by bike or on foot.
In the area
Canon’s Ashby – 2.2 miles. Elizabethan manor house set in beautiful gardens with an impressive collection of wall paintings and Jacobean plasterwork. Remains of an Augustinian priory.
Daventry – 8 miles. Historic market town has one of the largest market squares in England.
Banbury – 12 miles. The modern Castle Quay Shopping Centre, and the Banbury Museum, just alongside the Oxford Canal. There are interesting waterside walks along the canal system in Banbury.
If you would like to extend your stay before or after the meet, please contact Mr & Mrs Ivens directly on 01327 361351 to enquire about their 5 van site.
